FEES AND POLICIES

I understand that making the decision to hire an organizing professional may not be an easy one.  The workings of this relatively new industry are unfamiliar to most.  I have provided the information in this section with hope that it will ease the decision making process for you.  Congratulations to you for coming this far!

FEES

Needs Assessment:*
A one time needs assessment is recommended for multi-faceted projects. The first step of the assessment process is to meet (typically 1.5 to 2 hours) and discuss your desired outcomes, review your challenges and assess your space. We then identify and rank your priorities. Shortly after our meeting, you will receive a written action plan that will act as our guide throughout the organizing project. Needs assessments are also recommended for those who wish to get organized on their own but desire a plan. Cost: $200

 

Hands-On Organizing:*

Hands-On Organizing is provided in 3 hour blocks.  We will work side-by-side with you, teaching you skills, while we organize your time and space.

 

Ellen Faye -Certified Professional Organizer

3 hour session - $275

6 hour session - $500

 

Team EFO Professional Organizers

3 hour session - $200

6 hour session - $375


Virtual Organizing and

Organizing Coaching:
Sessions are available in a one hour phone-based session format. This can be helpful in the development of an organizing plan or productivity goals, reinforcement in moving toward established goals or help in refocusing. Sessions are available at a rate of $125 per hour or a  package rate of 3 one-hour sessions for $300.


Business Coaching for Organizers:
Phone-based coaching sessions for the Professional Organizer are offered at hourly or packaged rates.  Please email or call to see how we may customize a package for you.


Speaking:
Fees are reflective of the specific needs of your audience. Please contact Ellen for details.


Training:

Ellen will be happy to provide a proposal for in-house training sessions.

POLICIES
  1. Ellen Faye Organization performs organizing services in 3 and 6 hour blocks.  6 hour sessions are scheduled for 6½ hours and include a 30 minute unpaid meal break.  Design time and time exceeding scheduled sessions will be billed in ¼ hour increments at the corresponding hourly rate.
  2. Virtual organizing and coaching services are typically scheduled as one hour sessions. 
  3. Travel of 60 minutes round trip is included in the hands-on organizing fees.  Travel charges of $35 per hour will be applied when travel exceeds 60 minutes round trip.
  4. Cancellations and appointment changes, while sometimes necessary are a hardship.  The consideration of proper notice is appreciated.  In the event of frequent cancellations, changes, or no-shows, Ellen Faye Organization reserves the right to bill for appointments that are not canceled within 36 hours of the appointment time.  Cancellation will be billed $100.
  5. Clients are asked to remove and secure firearms and other "private" personal items from work areas before work begins. 
  6. Shopping for organizing products can be provided by Ellen Faye Organization.  Time will be billed at the hourly rate.  Client agrees to reimburse Ellen Faye Organization for authorized expenses.
  7. Suggestions regarding procurement and/or retention of legal, financial, and accounting documents may be made on by the organizer to expedite the organizing process.  However, all final decisions regarding these documents should be made by your personal CPA, Attorney or Financial Advisor.  
  8. Ellen Faye Organization is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), bound by a Code of Ethics.  Any physical or verbal content expressed during the course of the project will remain confidential and not be shared with outside parties, unless required by law. 
  9. Payment is to be made at time of service via check or cash.  Credit cards will be accepted through PayPal for coaching and virtual organizing, or for hands-on organizing if arrangements are made prior to the session.
